Kicking it Back Old School

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

I realized that I don’t have any of my older videos on this site — the ones that I produced while I was still at college, often for fun or for a class.  Here are a few more creative videos than those on my sample page and they highlight my editing skills! (Please excuse the low quality, this was before we had our sweet HVX200 HD camera)

Here’s one of the first videos I ever completed, and it won 1st place at the 2004 Loudoun County Film Festival in Virginia. I filmed it while in London, UK. It’s called “Midnight Catharsis.” Music credit: A Perfect Circle

This vid is called “What’s Your Power?” It’s a fun little short we created for a 48-Hour Film Festival in Fall, 2006.

Finally, this is a super short art video I created for my Field Production class at Emerson.  Entitled “Dishes Suck,” it illustrates exactly what you’d think: why I hate doing the dishes.

Wow…It’s Already December!

Can’t believe it’s already December! We are a little more than halfway through the Economy Video Series, and it’s going well! Check out the Kitchen Gadgets video we completed last week. Stay tuned for more; a How-To on Wall Anchors is coming soon, plus a highlight video of Economy’s Moonlight Madness (where I actually purchased a bunch of awesome stuff for myself…I couldn’t help it, the discounts were great!)

Oh, I also want to point you to my director, Daniel’s, new website and Twitter! If you’re ever in need of some amazing VFX he’s the best choice you’ll find in New England, hands-down! @squaredmotion and http://squaredmotion.com/
